    Parkside

2 years ago when we first arrived in Austin, Jessica listed Parkside as one of the first restaurant that we should visit. For whatever reason we never went, … until 2 weeks ago!

I decided to invite her on a date […]

    Austin Diner

fullscreen-capture-312010-21327-pmbmp A Great place! I love diners, they must be old fashioned, retro, in weird neighborhoods and the ultimate test is their hash-brown! Where I grew up hash-brown is a comfort food. My entire childhood we ate hash-brown with sausages and various cuts of meats at diner (back in Switzerland […]

    Enoteca Vespaio

enotecaThis restaurant is well located for sure; SOCO is a great relaxing area besides the high traffic which generates a constant rumbling noise. A lot of funky restaurants opened in this area and some of them provide quite decent food.

Enoteca Vespaio (not to be mixed up […]

    Phil’s Icehouse (burger house?)

philsIn my neighborhood you’ll find MacDonald’s, a Thai restaurant installed in an old workshop, an omelet specialized diner and many other interesting food places. Amongst them is Phil’s Ice House.

I’ll pass on the historical details of the place as many blogger already did this work for […]
